So You Think You Can Dance?

I must start off by stating that I don't find myself to be a great or even good dancer. I do however like to get my groove on, try new dance types, and dance around the comfort of those I know. It's good to loosen up after a long week and hit the dance floor with a few friends who you will remember that specific evening with.

I just got home from a night out on Mill Avenue. I absolutely love Mill Avenue in Tempe! There's something going on at all times and much culture to experience. Tonight I write to give heed to the do's and don'ts of dancing.

Top dancing faux pas (Don'ts):
5. Flailing your arms every which way is NOT considered dancing
4. Just because you have consumed 6 drinks does NOT make you a good dancer
3. God did not make your body for a pole - do NOT grind it
2. Snapping your fingers and doing the "Carleton" dance is NOT dancing
1. It is perfectly okay for two women to dance very close and against one another. This is NOT appropriate for men (no-brainer).

Top dancing wins (Do's)
5. Do have a drink or two
4. Do bring a few close friends or acquaintances
3. Do dance closely with your friends
2. Do get up on the dance floor with the intent to dance
1. Do have fun with your friends and be confident.

Go out with some friends, loosen up and dance the night away. It's something you will thank yourself for later. Don't let these experiences slip you by and inheriting dance moves fomr Elaine in the show Seinfeld:
